During activation, I encountered the error "0x80070490". What should I do?
The 0x80070490 error usually occurs during an update and is usually caused by a damaged or missing element within the update itself.
The error can be resolved using the Windows troubleshooter. To run a system scan, do the following:
– Open Settings from the “Start” button
– Select “Update and security”
– Go to “Troubleshoot” and then click on “Additional troubleshooters”
– In the “Get up and running” section, select “Windows Update,” then click on “Run the troubleshooter.”
The troubleshooter will run, but it may take a while. Do not turn off your PC while it is running.
