Windows won’t let me download the installation file. It only allows software to be downloaded from official stores; what can I do?

The link provided, and the ISO file to download are the official ones from Microsoft. They work regularly and are safe.

There are mainly two causes that prevent the download.

The first is that Windows is in ‘S’ mode. Check it here: ‘START > SETTINGS > SYSTEM > ACTIVATION.’ If Windows is in S mode, you cannot install programs downloaded online; only those available on the Microsoft Store can. You can disable the ‘S’ mode by following this guide:

The other cause can be the ‘Apps’ menu settings. To change the settings of the App menu, you need to set the ‘Anywhere’ option as shown in this guide:
