I can’t open my Office programs. When I try, Office says it’s disabled (error 1058-4). What can I do?
This error indicates that your PC cannot communicate with the activation server, which may be caused by several factors.
1) Check if your Internet connection is working correctly. If not, contact your Internet provider. After network access has been restored, restart the Office application.
2) Check if the correct date and time are set on your PC. If not, update them, restart your PC, recheck the date and time, then try starting the Office application again.
