How to Redeem a Game Code on Windows 10

If you’ve purchased a digital game from Keycense, redeeming your code on Windows 10 only takes a few minutes. Depending on your preference, you can activate your game through the Xbox app, the Microsoft Store, or directly from your web browser.

Before you begin: Make sure you’re signed in with the Microsoft account where you want to add the game permanently.

Option 1 – Redeem a Code in the Xbox App

The Xbox app is the easiest way to redeem game codes for Xbox Play Anywhere and Microsoft Store titles.

To redeem your game through the Xbox app:

1. Open the Start menu, type Xbox, and launch the Xbox app.
2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
3. Click your profile picture (Gamerpic) and open Settings.
4. Select Redeem or Redeem a code.
5. Enter your 25-character product key.
6. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

Once completed, the game will be added to your Microsoft account and will be available to install from your Library.

Option 2 – Redeem a Code in the Microsoft Store

You can also activate your game directly from the Microsoft Store.

1. Click Next and confirm the redemption.
2. Open the Start menu and search for Microsoft Store.
3. Launch the application and sign in with your Microsoft account.
4. Click your account icon in the top-right corner.
5. Select Redeem code or gift cards.
6. Enter your 25-character activation code.

After activation, your game will appear in your Microsoft library, ready to download and play.

Option 3 – Redeem a Code from Your Browser

If you prefer, you can redeem your game without using Windows.

1. Visit https://redeem.microsoft.com.
2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
3. Enter your 25-character product key.
4. Click Next and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

The game will be permanently linked to your Microsoft account and will be available from both the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store.
