The story follows a group of sixteenth-century explorers travelling towards a remote region surrounded by tales of ancient civilisations and forgotten riches. However, the territory conceals a much older and more dangerous force. The Tempestad, a ship worn down by the journey, serves as the explorers’ refuge and the base from which every expedition is organised. The jungle appears to react to the presence of intruders. Fog, rain, noises and supernatural phenomena distort perception, while apparently safe paths may lead towards traps or corrupted creatures. Even familiar objects can change appearance when sanity begins to decline.

Journals, clues and remains from previous expeditions gradually reveal the history of the island. Every discovery brings the group closer to the truth without completely removing uncertainty about what actually happened.

Organise cooperative expeditions for up to four players

The experience can be played alone or in online cooperative mode with up to four participants. Every member of the team selects weapons, lamps and tools before departure, contributing to mission preparation and the transportation of recovered loot.

An ally may suddenly appear deformed or take the shape of an enemy. A seemingly authentic treasure may reveal itself as a trap, while a figure spotted between the trees could be a harmless shadow or a creature preparing to attack.

Firing without considering distance and position can leave the character vulnerable during reloading. Melee weapons provide an alternative when ammunition is scarce, but they force players to approach creatures capable of dealing considerable damage.

In cooperative mode, coordinating attacks helps prevent every participant from reloading at the same time. One explorer can keep the enemy at a distance while an ally prepares the next shot or searches for a better position.

Vegetation, rocks and uneven terrain limit visibility and make it difficult to predict where an attack will come from. Some creatures react to noise, while others suddenly emerge when the group moves too close.
