About the Product
Buy Pax Autocratica Steam Account and build your regime through colony management and FPS battles
Buy Pax Autocratica Steam Account and rule a colony where every decision has consequences
Buy Pax Autocratica Steam Account for PC and take absolute control of a sci-fi colony in the Tyris system. Build structures, manage citizens, impose policies and personally lead your troops on roguelite FPS expeditions against infantry, tanks, mechs and bosses, turning every victory into new strength for the State.
Build a colony capable of feeding the machinery of the State
Pax Autocratica combines colony management with a satirical and dystopian vision of absolute power. You begin with a small group of survivors and must gradually transform it into a self-sufficient settlement capable of supporting production, research and warfare.
Citizens can be assigned to resource extraction, gathering, transportation, research and the production of weapons, armor, food and supplies. Every building added to the base therefore contributes to a broader economic system.
Growth is not only about making the colony larger. Everything you produce directly supports military expeditions, while resources obtained in the field return to the base and allow you to develop it further.
Colony simulation and combat therefore become parts of the same progression loop.
Rule through fear, propaganda or prosperity
Being the leader means deciding what kind of society you want to build. You can use propaganda, surveillance, punishment and fear to maintain control, or try to earn loyalty through well-being, security and better living conditions.
Political decisions influence the behavior of your inhabitants. Citizens can become grateful, intimidated or loyal, but they can also develop resentment and turn dissent into an actual rebellion.
Social management is therefore not simply a meter to keep high. Every policy contributes to defining the relationship between the population and the regime, while the consequences become part of the colony’s emergent story.
The game uses this structure to explore the relationship between authority, control and survival through a satirical lens.
Explore the Tyris system in search of resources and new citizens
When the colony needs resources, equipment or new people, you can temporarily leave base management behind and venture into the fragmented territories of the Tyris system.
Expeditions allow you to collect materials, find new citizens, meet traveling merchants and fight threats that stand in the way of the State’s growth.
This alternation prevents the management component from remaining isolated. Preparing a mission means using what the colony has managed to produce, while returning victorious allows you to further strengthen infrastructure and military forces.
Every expedition therefore becomes an investment: you can obtain valuable tools for expansion, but you must also be ready to face increasingly chaotic battles as you advance through enemy territory.
Fight personally alongside your troops in first person
Battles completely change the perspective. Instead of watching your army from above, you enter the battlefield directly as a combatant in a roguelite FPS.
Encounters can begin as smaller skirmishes and escalate into large mechanized battles featuring infantry, tanks, mechs, missiles, drones and artillery.
You do not necessarily fight alone. You can lead allied soldiers and issue orders, using them to capture positions, engage enemy groups or protect you in the most dangerous situations.
The combination of command and direct action creates a distinctive rhythm: first you build the system required to sustain war, then you personally enter the military machine you created.
Cores and roguelite synergies change every expedition
During missions you can collect Cores that progressively modify the capabilities of your character and squad. The system therefore introduces a roguelite component that can make each expedition different.
Weapon Cores modify how weapons behave, while Combination Cores allow you to create synergies between different groups of upgrades.
Other improvements can directly strengthen the troops fighting beside you or turn them into tools that help ensure the leader’s survival.
Choosing the right combinations becomes especially important when battlefields start filling with projectiles, missiles and simultaneous attacks.
Each run therefore builds a temporary war machine based on the interaction between equipment, Cores, soldiers and your chosen combat style.
Capture enemies and decide what role they will have in the regime
A defeated opponent does not necessarily have to be eliminated. Weakened enemies can be captured and brought back to the colony, where they become a new political and strategic resource.
You can imprison them, attempt to convert them through indoctrination or use fear and repression to break their resistance.
A former enemy can therefore become a new loyal citizen, be incorporated into the regime’s structure or be used as an example to discourage potential rebellions.
This mechanic directly connects the outcome of battles with social management. People encountered outside the colony can become part of the internal population, changing the available workforce and expanding development possibilities.
Bosses and Sector Overlords turn battles into bullet hell
The most difficult battles significantly increase the number of threats on screen. Elite enemies, bosses and Sector Overlords can use projectiles, lasers, drones, missiles and artillery in combinations capable of turning combat into a true three-dimensional bullet hell.
Survival requires mobility, intelligent use of cover and the ability to exploit the upgrades obtained during the run.
The presence of your own troops allows you to split enemy attention and use the battlefield more tactically, but soldiers are also a resource that can be lost during combat.
The growing scale of battles therefore makes it important to arrive prepared through a productive colony, suitable equipment and a coherent Core configuration.
Early Access allows the regime to keep evolving
The version released on August 10, 2026 is available in Early Access. The game already includes the complete loop connecting colony management and combat, together with numerous soldier types, weapons, buildings and Cores.
The developers currently expect approximately two years of Early Access, although the duration may change depending on development progress and community feedback.
Additional content for both the management and battle systems is planned during this period. Co-op is among the features the team hopes to develop, but it should not be considered an available mode at present.
The Early Access structure also means that systems, balancing, content and requirements may evolve before the full release.
