The experience recreates Haddonfield on Halloween night in 1978, taking inspiration from the iconic original film. Michael Myers has returned, and the town’s residents must react before the night turns into tragedy.

The game combines asymmetric horror, stealth, survival, and action. You can experience events from the killer’s perspective or cooperate with other players to protect residents and stand against The Shape.

The Standard Edition includes the base game and does not automatically contain the exclusive content from the Digital Deluxe Upgrade.

1v4 multiplayer between Michael Myers and the Heroes of Haddonfield

The core multiplayer mode is an asymmetric experience where one player controls Michael Myers while four others take the roles of the Heroes of Haddonfield.

The two sides pursue completely different objectives. Michael must stalk, isolate, and terrorize his victims, while the civilians must cooperate, protect the townspeople, and find a way to survive.

Communication and map knowledge become essential. Splitting up can speed up certain objectives, but it also leaves players more exposed to the killer.

The result is a horror sandbox in which every match can develop differently depending on player decisions, abilities, and events occurring across the map.

Become Michael Myers and control the hunt

Playing as Michael allows you to become the main threat of the match.

Gameplay rewards patience, observation, and the ability to surprise opponents. Immediately chasing every target is not always the best solution: monitoring civilian movements and choosing the right time to strike can be more effective.

Progression allows you to obtain skins, color variants, starting weapons, executions, and new abilities dedicated to Michael.

The Shape Jump also adds a distinctive mobility mechanic for the killer, helping create the feeling that Michael can suddenly appear in the most dangerous areas of the map.

Fight as one of the Heroes of Haddonfield

Other players can choose from ten civilians available in the base game and work together to save Haddonfield.

Heroes can use weapons and ordinary household objects to defend themselves, create opportunities to escape, and slow Michael down. The objective is not simply to hide until the match ends.

You will need to alert the authorities, help local families, and cooperate with teammates while the killer continues searching for new victims.

Character abilities and item management allow different strategies. Knowing when to confront Michael, when to flee, and when to assist another player can completely change the outcome.

Perk Cards and civilian customization

The Heroes of Haddonfield use a system built around Perk Cards.

You can create a deck by selecting perks suited to your playstyle and modify your setup before matches. Some combinations may favor survival and mobility, while others are more useful for supporting the team.

Progression also provides numerous cosmetic items for customizing Michael Myers and the civilians.

This component allows you to continue developing your profile even after learning the main mechanics, providing additional objectives to pursue in multiplayer and the campaign.

Four multiplayer maps set in Haddonfield

At launch, multiplayer includes four main maps, each covering a different area of the town.

The environments use dynamic elements, NPCs, and interactive systems to create a less predictable horror sandbox.

Learning routes, buildings, and possible escape paths provides an advantage to both the Heroes and Michael. Map knowledge helps survivors move more efficiently and allows the killer to anticipate opponents’ decisions.

A single-player campaign starring Michael Myers

In addition to multiplayer, the game includes a standalone single-player story titled The Night He Came Home.

The campaign contains six chapters and is played from Michael Myers’ perspective. Events follow his escape and return to Haddonfield, providing a reinterpretation of the night depicted in the original film.

Each chapter includes main objectives, secondary challenges, and collectibles. Completing optional activities can unlock rewards that can also be used for customization.

The mode therefore allows you to play without immediately entering PvP matches and offers a different perspective on Michael’s abilities and the game’s mechanics.

Challenges, cosmetics, and replayability

Single-player chapters contain additional challenges designed to encourage repeated play.

Completing certain objectives can unlock cosmetics, new executions, and other progression-related elements. Different difficulty levels are also available for players who want to tackle the campaign under more demanding conditions.

Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade

The Standard Edition includes only the base game.

The Digital Deluxe Upgrade is available separately and adds the Inmate Michael Myers skin, two exclusive civilians named Richard and Alexis, early access to a Laurie Strode cosmetic, and a digital comic.

These items should therefore not be considered automatically included with this Standard Steam Key.

The Phantom Michael Myers Skin was also a digital preorder bonus. The preorder period ended with the September 8, 2026 launch and this bonus is not standard content in the present offer.

Languages, mature content, and Easy Anti-Cheat

The Steam version supports ten languages, including Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Italian is available for interface and subtitles. Full voice acting is available in English.

Online modes use Easy Anti-Cheat with a kernel-level component. Steam also indicates that the anti-cheat software may require manual removal after uninstalling the game.
