About the Product
Buy Denshattack! on Steam and turn a train into a trick machine
Buy Denshattack! and reclaim the rails with speed and style
Buy Denshattack! Steam Altergift Global for PC and enter a high-speed 3D platformer set in a dystopian Japan. Perform ollies, kickflips and grinds with a customisable train, overcome spectacular challenges and fight the powerful Miraidō corporation.
A railway rebellion against the Miraidō corporation
In a Japan transformed by Miraidō’s control, railways are no longer simple transport routes. The tracks have become territories contested by gangs, rebels and rival trains, while some of the country’s largest cities have been isolated beneath enormous domes. The protagonist boards a gravity-defying train and joins a group of outcasts determined to reclaim their freedom.
The adventure follows a beginner who must earn the trust of underground communities and prove their ability through races, tricks and increasingly dangerous missions. Every victory improves the new Denshattacker’s reputation and may turn former rivals into valuable allies.
Miraidō controls advanced technology, mechanical armies and vehicles designed to maintain control over the railway network. Stopping the corporation requires more than speed: players must learn to use jumps, rails, curves and obstacles as parts of a single acrobatic sequence.
The story combines humour, rebellion and anime-inspired atmosphere, creating a colourful journey where personal growth develops alongside the liberation of different regions.
Spectacular tricks transform every level into an arcade challenge
The gameplay combines three-dimensional platforming, railway racing and scoring systems inspired by skateboarding games. The train can perform ollies, kickflips, rotations and grinds, allowing players to chain different moves within the same sequence. Landing correctly keeps the combo active, while a mistake can interrupt the multiplier and compromise the final score.
Each level includes objectives based on time, score or specific actions. Reaching the finish line is only the first step. Better ratings require knowledge of obstacle placement, the fastest routes and every opportunity to perform additional tricks.
Speed increases progressively and forces players to make decisions within seconds. An elevated rail may provide more points but require a precise jump. An alternative route can reduce completion time while exposing the train to greater danger.
The basic rules are easy to understand, but mastering the system requires practice. Replaying missions allows players to improve trajectories, build longer combos and beat previous records. The result is an arcade experience suitable both for players following the campaign and those chasing the highest possible score.
A customisable train becomes your skateboard on rails
The train is not simply a vehicle but the main tool for movement and combat. Its ability to jump, rotate and slide along rails transforms railway environments into enormous skateparks built across cities, countryside and natural landscapes.
Customisation allows players to change the train’s appearance and match it to their preferred style. New cosmetic elements are unlocked by progressing through the adventure, completing objectives and improving reputation. The base game is separate from additional content sold individually, including the Seasonal Skin Pack and digital soundtrack.
Controlling the train requires managing direction, momentum and landing timing. A spectacular rotation only awards points when completed correctly. Starting a grind with a poor trajectory may instead send the vehicle off course or end a promising combo.
The mechanics encourage creative use of the environment. Ramps, buildings, suspended rails and moving structures become opportunities to increase the score. With experience, players learn to view each level not as a simple track but as a sequence of possibilities that can be connected.
This freedom makes every attempt different and encourages experimentation with new routes even after completing the main objective.
Travel across a dystopian Japan filled with cities and volcanoes
The journey crosses several regions inspired by Japanese landscapes and railway culture. The campaign begins in the rural areas of Kyushu before reaching major cities such as Osaka and Tokyo, now transformed by the corporation’s presence. The route continues towards the snowy regions of Hokkaido and other locations where the normal rules of railway travel no longer seem to apply.
Environments include colourful fields, coastlines, oceans, volcanoes, mountains and cities protected by domes. Every region introduces new challenges, interactive elements and obstacles capable of changing the pace of the race. Some levels focus on precise jumps, while others require speed, memory or adaptability.
The visual variety accompanies constant mechanical progression. Techniques learned during the early missions are combined in more complex situations, forcing players to perform several actions in sequence without losing control of the train.
The colourful design combines anime influences, urban architecture and natural landscapes to create an immediately recognisable world. Railway tracks pass through improbable locations, transforming every region into an acrobatic course.
Exploration follows the structure of the levels, but alternative routes and additional objectives reward players who observe the environment and search for riskier solutions.
Rival gangs and rebels measure your reputation
During the campaign, the protagonist encounters an underground network of gangs, rebels and experienced Denshattackers. These groups do not immediately accept the newcomer. Their respect must be earned by completing challenges, defeating rivals and proving control of the train under difficult conditions.
The challenges feature imaginative reinterpretations of Japanese trains. Every rival has a distinctive identity and may require a different strategy. Some opponents focus on pure speed, while others demand long combos or precise completion of technical sections.
Reputation represents the journey from beginner to professional. Progressing through the story unlocks new opportunities and brings the player closer to racing against the fastest train in existence. Former enemies may eventually become allies in the fight against Miraidō, expanding the group involved in the rebellion.
This progression gives narrative meaning to improving player skill. Achieving a higher score is not only about climbing a leaderboard but also proving to the underground communities that the protagonist is ready to face greater threats.
The final objective is to become a railway legend by combining technique, courage and an impossible-to-ignore style.
Mechanical bosses transform the tracks into unpredictable arenas
Boss battles interrupt the normal race structure and introduce encounters built around enormous enemies. Players face a mechanised magical girl, a moving castle, a gigantic artificial worm and even an army of Denshattackers.
Every battle uses the techniques learned during the campaign in a different way. Jumping and grinding are no longer used only to earn points but become essential tools for avoiding attacks, reaching vulnerable parts and responding to enemy movements.
The arenas change quickly and require players to interpret visual signals while the train continues travelling at high speed. Some bosses alter the track, launch obstacles or occupy large sections of the environment. Maintaining control without interrupting the action becomes essential.
Battles become progressively more unusual and difficult. Every new opponent combines familiar mechanics with specific rules, preventing players from relying on the same strategy throughout the game.
Victory requires timing, memory and the ability to react to unexpected events. Success depends not only on speed but also on understanding the level and using every available trick intelligently.
The bosses also represent Miraidō’s most powerful tools, turning the protagonists’ rebellion into an increasingly spectacular conflict.
Electronic music and anime style drive every race
The art direction uses intense colours, expressive characters and visual effects designed to communicate speed and movement. Futuristic cities, natural landscapes and mechanical bosses combine Japanese pop-culture influences with a dystopian vision of railway infrastructure.
The music supports every race with electronic tracks, breakbeats and energetic arcade compositions. The soundtrack includes contributions from several artists and composers from the worlds of video games and contemporary music, creating an audio identity suited to the speed of the missions.
Audio and graphics work together to make important moments easy to recognise. Effects, signals and musical changes help identify obstacles, landings and particularly intense sections without slowing down the action.
The game includes full English and Japanese voice acting. The interface and subtitles are also available in French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Catalan and Korean. Italian is not officially supported.
The combination of anime aesthetics, humour and rhythmic music gives each area a distinctive identity. Even as the difficulty increases, the experience maintains an energetic and spectacular tone consistent with the idea of transforming a normal railway journey into an acrobatic rebellion.
