About the Product
Turn evil into power in a strategy RPG where sacrificing your allies may be the path to victory
Make a pact with the Devil and unleash chaos
DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER is a turn-based strategy RPG that combines grid-based tactical combat, character progression, and deliberately dark and irreverent humor. The story takes place on an alternate Earth and revolves around Giga Super Death, the most evil of Devils, who comes within reach of killing God before suddenly being transformed into a child and stripped of most of his power.
To prepare for such an eventuality, Giga Super Death had developed the DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER resurrection program. When the time comes to activate it, the ritual becomes tied to Killshiro Katanaka, a gloomy young man deeply disillusioned with the world.
Their interests eventually align, creating an unlikely pact: Killshiro becomes the Devil’s disciple and joins him in a campaign built around revenge, conquest, and pure wickedness. Their goal is to recover Giga Super Death’s lost power and bring down the false god who presents himself as a symbol of justice.
Sacrifice even your allies with the Peon Exploitation System
At the heart of DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER is the Peon Exploitation System, a mechanic that turns the conventions of traditional tactical RPGs upside down.
Battles use a grid-based structure and require careful consideration of positioning, movement, and unit abilities, but here your allies are not necessarily resources that must be protected. Your Peons can become expendable tools used to gain an immediate advantage.
You can take advantage of techniques such as Kill Skills and Sacrifices to eliminate your own subordinates, turning them into offensive resources against enemies. Certain tactics therefore allow you to sacrifice units to deal damage, create new opportunities on the battlefield, or accelerate the end of a fight.
The question is not only which enemy should be eliminated first, but also which allies you are willing to lose to achieve the best possible result. This philosophy makes battles intentionally ruthless and rewards a very different approach from SRPGs where keeping every party member alive is the absolute priority.
Become stronger by committing ever more wicked acts
Being evil is not merely a narrative theme: it is directly connected to progression.
By performing questionable actions and carrying out increasingly sinister deeds, you can earn Perverse Points, a resource used to strengthen your army and further develop your characters.
Between battles, you can use your base to prepare for the next offensive and invest what you have earned into improving your units. Kidnapping, looting, and other deliberately criminal activities become tools for increasing the power of your forces.
Progression also takes place within a limited amount of time. This adds a planning element, as you cannot simply complete every activity without consequences. You must decide how to use your available time and which characters, systems, or resources deserve priority.
The result is a gameplay loop where combat, base development, and time management constantly feed into one another.
Build an increasingly absurd and powerful army
Character growth is a fundamental part of DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER.
Perverse Points earned through your actions can be invested to gradually transform your group into an increasingly aggressive army. The goal is to exploit every available system to push character stats and abilities as high as possible before facing the next threats.
This approach makes it important to decide which units deserve investment and which can instead be treated as expendable.
A less important Peon might become a resource to consume during battle, while a carefully developed character can take on a central role in later strategies.
The combination of permanent growth, preparation, and sacrifice creates a constant tension between the future value of a unit and the immediate advantage you can gain by eliminating it.
Face chapters that constantly transform the game world
The campaign is structured into chapters that continually change the setting, enemies, and tone of the adventure.
Defeating a chapter boss does not simply mean moving on to the next battle. The situation can change completely, introducing a new environment and a different interpretation of the absurd misdeeds of Giga Super Death and Killshiro.
In some sections, you may take on the role of the monster tasked with defeating a squad of Super Rangers; in others, the objective may become a battle against Magical Girls or other parodies of classic Japanese animation and entertainment archetypes.
The game therefore uses an intentionally unpredictable structure, alternating parody, dark comedy, and increasingly exaggerated situations.
This constant change of context helps keep the campaign varied without abandoning the grid-based strategic system that forms the core of the gameplay.
Experience an irreverent strategy RPG combining tactics and dark comedy
DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER takes the structure of classic Japanese strategy RPGs and uses it to build a deliberately unconventional experience.
The turn-based system requires planning and unit management, while simultaneously encouraging actions that would normally be considered counterproductive: betraying allies, sacrificing them, looting resources, and accumulating power through evil deeds.
The anime-inspired presentation supports a story that does not portray evil in a solemn way. Exaggerated characters, absurd situations, and constant reversals instead turn the campaign into a parody of traditional conflicts between good and evil.
The experience is designed exclusively for single-player and includes Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud. Xbox and PlayStation controllers are also fully supported alongside traditional PC controls.
Prepare for the war between Giga Super Death, Killshiro, and the false God
The conflict between Giga Super Death and God serves as the main thread throughout the adventure.
After losing most of his powers, the Devil must rely on Killshiro and the DEMONS' NIGHT FEVER program to gradually rebuild his strength. On the other side, God attempts to eliminate the threat once and for all, using his followers to block the protagonists’ advance.
The campaign introduces several key characters who help transform the classic opposition between good and evil into something far more ambiguous and chaotic.
Behind apparent justice, manipulation may be hidden, while the openly evil protagonist does not even attempt to pretend that his intentions are noble.
Through tactical battles, absurd rivalries, and chapters built around different parodies, the story follows the gradual rebuilding of Giga Super Death’s army until the confrontation with the forces that took away his power.
