Set out with the Warriors of Light in a remastered high-definition adventure

BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster brings back the first entry in the BRAVELY series with high-definition graphics, a redesigned interface and numerous improvements designed to modernize the experience.

Follow Tiz Arrior, the sole survivor of the village of Norende, and Agnès Oblige, a young vestal tasked with awakening the crystals. Their journey will lead them to meet new companions, face powerful enemies and uncover the consequences of a mission seemingly destined to save the world.

Discover a fantasy story built around the four crystals

A massive chasm swallows the village of Norende and disrupts the balance of the world.

Tiz survives the disaster and meets Agnès, guardian of the Wind Crystal. Together, they set out to close the chasm and free the crystals that have fallen under the influence of darkness.

During the adventure, you will meet Edea Lee and Ringabel, forming a group of protagonists with different motivations and personalities.

The story combines classic fantasy, journeys across numerous regions and mysteries that become increasingly complex as the party advances through its mission.

Master the Brave and Default system in turn-based battles

The battle system is one of the most distinctive elements of BRAVELY DEFAULT.

With the Default command, you can take a defensive stance and accumulate BP, the Brave Points used to perform additional actions.

The Brave command instead allows you to spend accumulated BP to perform multiple actions within the same turn.

You can therefore conserve resources and wait for the right moment, or take a risk by using several turns in advance to unleash a powerful sequence of attacks.

This mechanic adds a strong strategic layer to traditional turn-based JRPG combat.

Customize your party through the Job system

BRAVELY DEFAULT features an extensive class system that allows you to develop the protagonists according to different strategies.

By defeating specific enemies, you can obtain new Jobs and gain access to unique abilities, stats and skills.

You can combine abilities from different classes to create custom builds focused on offense, defense, support, magic or hybrid strategies.

Experimenting with Jobs and passive abilities becomes especially important against bosses and during the more advanced stages of the adventure.

Enjoy HD graphics, a redesigned interface and new features

HD Remaster updates the presentation of the original with high-definition graphics and a completely redesigned interface.

Several quality-of-life features have been introduced, including options that make certain sequences faster and improve the overall pacing of the adventure.

The network features of the original edition have also been adapted to modern infrastructure.

The remaster preserves the artistic identity of the original game while updating it for contemporary screens and systems.

Take on two new minigames and reworked features

This edition introduces two types of minigames that were not present in the original version.

These new activities add further variety beyond the main campaign and traditional battles.

Online and network features have also been reworked to suit modern services while preserving part of the social spirit that distinguished the original title.

The result is a remaster that goes beyond simply increasing the resolution and also updates several aspects of the overall experience.

Experience a classic JRPG with deeply strategic progression

BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster combines exploration, fantasy storytelling, party development and tactical combat.

The Brave/Default system lets you carefully plan each turn, while Jobs provide numerous possibilities for character building.

The combinations of classes, abilities and strategies make party preparation especially important before the most difficult battles.

It is an experience designed both for fans of traditional JRPGs and for players looking for a turn-based combat system with particularly deep customization.
