To enable Family Sharing on your Steam account, open the Steam client and:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select \u201cSteam\u201d in the top left corner;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to \u201cSettings\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Open the \u201cFamily\u201d tab and click \u201cAuthorize Library Sharing on this device\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Ensure that the Steam Guard is enabled on your account;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Check the \u201cEligible accounts\u201d and pick the preferred one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. (optional) If you do not see any eligible accounts, close the settings and open them again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    To request access from the owner:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Ensure that the Steam Guard is enabled on your account;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In the game library, you will see games owned by another account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select the game from the list and click \u201cborrow\u201d to request access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. The owner of the game will receive an email with an authorization link. Its activation will grant you access to the game.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
